En memoria de una gran mujer entregada a su familia y a su comunidad. Angeles falleció el Sábado 27 de Agosto 2022 a sus 62 años. Angeles lucho hasta su último día en su batalla contra el cáncer. Llena de fortaleza, pasó sus últimos días rodeada de su familia que tanto la amaban. Le proceden en vida sus 3 hijas, Araceli, Maricela, y Gabriela. Sus nietos Miah, Titi, Iker-David, Maximiliano y Carolina. Sus yernos Rigoberto, Nestor, y Antonio Jr. Angeles nació en San Agustin Texcatlitlan, Estado de México a sus padres Silverio Lara y Francisca Hernandez. En 1989, emigró a los Estados Unidos. Ella vivió una vida llena de Amor y Esperanza. Siempre de la mano de Dios nada fue imposible para ella. Ella lucho para sacar adenlente a sus tres hijas sola. Trabajó 10 años en una fabrica donde se ganó el respeto y admiración de sus compañeros. Asistió al CLC donde completó su certificación en refrigeración. Después con las ganas de enviar a su hija Gabriela a un retiro en Colombia, empezó a vender tamales. Quien diría que esos tamales fueron el comienzo de su pequeña empresa de comida. Fueron 13 años de ser su propio jefe, alimentando a infinitas personas. La venta de comida fue el instrumento que Dios usó para que ella llegara a miles de personas. Siempre dando un consejo, unas palabras de aliento, y cuando era necesario, un regaño. La Señora Ángeles tenía un espíritu de servicio. Donó su tiempo en el Centro Padre Gary Graf de Waukegan dando clases de alphabetización por varios años. Ella también tenía una Alma Misionera. En el 2016 y 2017 fue a Honduras de misionera con Apufram. Su mision continuo mas alla de su misiones en el verano. La Señora Angeles ayudaba recaudar fondos y patrocinadores para los regalos de Navidad para los niños de Apufram. Angeles tenia un gran espiritu de fe. En su llegada a los Estados Unidos, se integro a la iglesia de San Bartolome en Waukegan. Fue integrante del coro, lectora, e integrante de las comunidades eclesiales de Base. Su gran sueño era viajar a Tierra Santa y en el 2014 pudo lograr ese sueño. Angeles nunca perdio la fe, ni en su ultimo dia dudo de el amor que Dios tenia por ella. Por siempre vivira en nuestros corazones. La velacion de Angeles sera el jueves, 1 septiembre 2022 de 4:00 - 8:00 pm en la funeraria Memorial Chapel de Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, Illinois, 60085. Su funeral sera el viernes, 2 de septiembre 2022 en Sagrada Familia, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, Illinois de 10:00 - 11:00 am. Su sepelio sera en el Panteón Ascension, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, Illinois, 60048. She lost her brave and fierce battle to cancer. She spent her last days surrounded by her beloved family. She is survived by her three daughters Araceli, Maricela, and Gabriela. Grandchildren Miah, Titi, Iker-David, Maximiliano and Carolina. Her son-in-law's Rigoberto, Nestor and Antonio Jr. Angeles was born in San Agustin, Texcatlitlan, Mexico to Silverio Lara and Francisca Hernandez. In 1989 she migrated to United States. She lived a life full of love and hope. Always held on to the Lords hand, knowing that nothing was impossible. She worked hard and was able to raise her daughters on her own. She worked for 10 years at a factory where she gained respect and admiration from her colleagues. She attended CLC where she received certification in food service. Her desire to send her daughter Gabriela, to Colombia for a retreat was what drove her start selling tamales. That lead to the start a small food business. It was 13 years of being self employed, entrepreneur, where she catered to thousands of people. Her delicious cooking was the instrument God gave her, which allowed her to meet thousands of people. She would always have advise to give, a word of wisdom, and when necessary a stern talk. Angeles had a spirit of service. She dedicated most of her time to the Gary Graf Center of Waukegan, where she taught the alphabet for many years. She also had a missionary spirit. In 2016 and 2017 she went on a retreat to Honduras with Apufram. Her mission carried on further then summertime. She volunteered and gained donations for Christmas for the kids of Apufram. Angeles had a spirit of faith. Upon arriving to United States she became a member of St. Bartolome Church of Waukegan. She participated in the choir, as a lectur, and part of the Base community essentials. Her greatest dream came true in 2014, when she was able to travel to the sacred land. Angeles never lost faith and knew till her last day that God loved her. She will forever live in our hearts. Angeles visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, Illinois, 60085. Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Holy Family Church, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, Illinois from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
