Traditional Funeral Services
A traditional funeral service is one in which there is a visitation(viewing) followed by a funeral service and interment. The visitation may occur the evening before or immediately prior to the funeral service. The visitation may take place in our facilities or the place of your worship.
Traditional Cremation Services
A traditional cremation service is one in which there is a visitation(viewing) followed by a funeral service and cremation occurs at a later time. The visitation may occur the evening before or immediately prior to the funeral service. The visitation may take place in our facilities or the place of your worship.
A graveside service is one in which the family gathers at the committal site. It is traditionally family and friends. The service consists of a brief ceremony at the committal site. Please note that there is no viewing of your loved one at the cemetery or any other type of services held at the funeral home or a place of worship prior to a Graveside Service.
A memorial service can take place after cremation. The service may take place at our facilities, at your place of worship, or the facility of your choice. This type of service allows a gathering of friends and family to celebrate the life of their loved one. You may choose to have the cremated remains of your loved one present. If you choose not to have them present, you are encouraged to provide pictures and mementoes to help celebrate your loved ones life.
An immediate burial is a service which is provided to families who do not wish to have a gathering of family and friends, as well as any religious service. An immediate burial can take place in front of a family member or a designated witness, who meets us at the committal site. There is no committal service performed at the cemetery when a family selects an Immediate Burial. Often times the burial is done privately without anyone present.
An immediate cremation is a service provided to families who wish not to have any formal gathering or service. An immediate cremation can take place when all of the required authorizations and documentation is received and formally filed.
Out of Town Transfers
We offer services to those families who wish to have services at a location other than ours. This includes out of state and international transfers. We prepare and file all necessary documentation for the transfer of your loved one, transferring your loved one to the funeral home and all necessary preparation of the body. If you wish, you may have services at our facilities prior to transferring the remains to another funeral home.
Pre-planned funeral arrangements are an opportunity for individuals to personally handle their final arrangements and eliminate the financial and emotional stresses that often burden family members when they lose a loved one. Pre-planning is a way to tell our families that we care and want to reduce the number of decisions needed and funds involved with a funeral. Pre-planning gives families precise, clear-cut instructions with a piece of mind that arrangements are made exactly the way a family would have wanted.
We can provide the resources to families which can help them through their time of grief. The resources include reading materials, support groups, and religious organizations.
